Last week we brought you the news that toy maker Hasbro is going all out this year with My Little Pony. The movie is due to release in cinemas soon with a new toy range and sticker album to join it. Well, its a new week so that means new My Little Pony news. This time in the form of a brand new cartoon, My Little Pony: Equestria Girls that is to debut on Youtube
Hasbro is to premiere the first episode of its brand new series My Little Pony: Equestria Girls on YouTube on November 17th, the firm has announced.
The show is to have 45 new weekly episodes following the show’s debut with new episodes rolling out each Friday following the launch.
With the new series, fans can join Sunset Shimmer, Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and Rarity as they learn what it means to be superheroes while they take on their biggest challenge yet: high school.
In addition to the new series, Hasbro has also confirmed the launch of a new line of My Little Pony: Equestria Girls fashion dolls. Produced in partnership with Laura Shuffman, the official My Little Pony: Equestria Girls celebrity stylist, the new line will feature revamped versions of past dolls, with new fashionable outfits for the Mane 7.
The look of these new fashion dolls inspired the look of the characters seen in the upcoming My Little Pony: Equestria Girls series. The new Equestria Girls fashion dolls line will be available for purchase in the U.S. in December 2017 and globally, beginning in January 2018.
