Millions of people have committed to changing something for 2017, from losing weight to growing their bank accounts. Whether or not people will stick to their ‘new year, new me’ goals is a whole other story. iQuanti put together data from Google that showed the top resolutions in 2017. Let’s take a look.

5Spend Less, Save More

Overspending, something most people experience day after day.

The time of year where spending our entire wages on Christmas presents and work Christmas parties has finally come to an end, so it’s time to put that money somewhere.

This means that we can now continue to save, and stop spending money on unnecessary things. George S.Clayson in his best-selling book ‘The Richest Man In Babylon‘ teaches us a simple rule.

The rule is to save at least 10% of your income. He goes on to tell us that by living on 90% of our income rather than the full 100% our lifestyles will not change in the slightest.

4New Hobbies

New hobbies teach us new skills, we all need something away from errands, work, and the daily stresses of life, so a new hobby may give you some chill time and you may even find it therapeutic.

Whether it’s sports, music classes or collecting things, a new hobby will provide you with knowledge, skills and some relaxing time to recharge your batteries.

3Live Life To The Fullest

This is different for everyone. But we only live once, so whenever you can, smile, and make others smile.

Take time to appreciate little things, save up to visit that country or friend you’ve always wanted to go and see. Change jobs if you’re not happy, return to eduction, whatever happiness means to you, go out and find it.

Start thinking more clearly by going to sleep earlier, prepare your clothes or lunch for work the next day or actually read the agenda for your big meeting.

A great start for improving health is to try and sleep more and drink more water. Doing both of these things will do wonders for your energy.
