Second Assassin’s Creed Trailer Keeps Our Hopes High

Second Assassin’s Creed Trailer Keeps Our Hopes High

Assassin's Creed Movie

Movie adaptions of video games haven’t had the best response in the past. But if the new Assassin’s Creed trailer is anything to go by, that could be about to change.

Yesterday (18th October 2016), 20th Century Fox released the second trailer for Assassin’s Creed and it has fans very excited. Filming finished back in January this year and is due to be released on 21st December.

When the Assassin’s Creed movie was first announced there was a genuine worry from fans of the game that the movie studio would kill the incredibly successful franchise. After watching both trailers, we’re not as worried anymore.

Assassin’s Creed Movie Plot (What We Know So Far)

The movie is split between modern day America and 15th century Spain. Callum Lynch (played by Michael Fassbender), is the modern day descendant of Aguilar, a 15th Century assassin. Lynch is forced to take part in the Animus Project where he relives the memories of his ancestor. As he relives these memories he picks up the skills and knowledge of the assassin.

The film is looking like it is going to be a success, but if other recent movies are anything to go by, we shouldn’t hold our breath just yet.
