We, here at Clubit LOVE the annual Leeds West Indian Carnival. From the amazing costumes, street food and, not forgetting the infectious rhythms and music! It’s a smashing day out to round off the bank holiday weekend.
So what can a Leeds West Indian Carnival virgin expect? Well excitement, vibrancy, great tastes, sounds and smells!

The carnival departs in full plumage from The West Indian Centre on Laycock Place at 2:00pm and follows the route below:
The parade should be wrapping up at approximately 5:00pm and will be followed by the all important costume judging ceremony.

Over in the park there is LOADS of great live music and DJ’s to keep your toes tapping and your bums wiggling. As well as fabulous global cuisine and the HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Jerk Chicken. Trust me. I’ll be all over that! On top of all that there’ll be brilliant ‘Arts and crafts’ stalls as well as the smile-making Funfair rides!
