Can you believe that this weekend You Tube, the video sharing website is celebrating its 10th birthday anniversary?  Clubit TV has had its own channel on YouTube since 2008 and we currently have over 300 videos mainly featuring toys, games and gadgets.

Over the last few years Clubit TV has filmed and covered events such as the London Toy Fair, the Gadget Show Live, Eurogamer and Ga-Ma-Yo Game Makers Yorkshire.

YouTube.com was registered on Valentines day 14th February 2005 by three former PayPal employees – Jawed Karim, Steve Chen and Chad Hurley. The first ever video was uploaded to YouTube.com on 23rd April 2005 and the website officially went live to the public in November 2005. A little over a year later it in November 2006 it was snapped up by Google for US $1.65 billion.

Today YouTube has over 3 billion users and it is said that over 300 hours of video content is uploaded to You Tube every minute of every day. There is a massive and diverse range of video content to be found, pretty much anything imaginable from pets, music, funny and viral videos, ‘how to’ videos to global breaking news stories.
