This year sees Game of the Year go to Arkane Studios Dishonored stealth action adventure game published by Bethesda Softworks.  The game is set in the fictional, plague-ridden industrial city of Dunwall, Dishonored follows Corvo Attano, the Empress’s loyal and legendary bodyguard. He is framed for her murder and forced to become an assassin, seeking revenge on those who conspired against him.

The game lets you play in your own way in small sand box missions allowing you to take dispatch unsuspecting guards and enemies with a variety of skills and weapons.
