The long awaited Leeds Arena tonight gave us a sneak peek of some of its new exterior lighting by showing off its cool neon lights. Nearing its final stages of completion three vibrant neon colours lit up the foggy Leeds Sky.
The new Leeds Arena which is still under construction is due to open in early summer 2013 and has confirmed Bruce Springsteen as the first artist to perform at the arena. The arena which will have a 13,500 capacity is expected to host over 150 events per year including major rock and pop concerts, comedians, dance shows and sporting events along with a host of family entertainment.
The Leeds Arena is also the first purpose built fan shape arena in the UK that will give every spectator a perfect view of the stage.
The exterior of the arena complex will also come alive at night with its unique and exciting honeycomb design and changing coloured lights that can reflect the mood of the event.
